A collection of photos from a recent turbine package removal project. TMS were tasked with the safe removal of a 16Mwe ABB turbo genset, pack and make ready for onward shipment to South Africa.
Working closely with Turbine Generator Services RSA, and the in-situ Customer Projects Team, the Steam Turbine, Gearbox, Generator, Oil System and other ancillary components were all safely removed, transported to a temporary logistics area area on site, safely packed and made ready for onward transport.
The planning and communication throughout the project was of the highest order and the whole operation was undertaken in a 6 week period.
